AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS brought their raw, rowdy energy from Melbourne, Australia to Chicago last week at The Vic Theatre to a crowd that anxiously waited for their return to the city. The punk rock band, fronted by Amy Taylor, released their second studio album Comfort to Me on September 10, 2021 which won the Best Independent Punk Album/EP at the Australian Independent Record Awards (commonly known as the AIR Awards). The critically acclaimed album is equally matched to their live performances as their fans at The Vic Theatre could not seem to get enough of the band’s lively enthusiasm throughout the night. AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS continue their tour in the US for a few more select dates, then return to Europe and Australia for dates spanning through January 7, plus a stop at the Destination Chaos Festival in the Domincan Republic (January 28 to February 4).
